SHIPPING
We strive to ship your order as quickly as possible. Most orders placed within the continental U.S. or Canada are processed and shipped within 1-2 business days.
- Please note that time in transit (delivery window) begins after your order has left our facility.
- We ship orders Monday through Friday to ensure fast and efficient delivery.
- Our team works extremely hard to fulfill orders the same day whenever possible, because we understand how important it is for you to receive your skates quickly.
- While we strive to never experience delays, unforeseen weather patterns or delivery pickup issues may occasionally impact shipment timing. We go above and beyond to avoid these disruptions and keep your order on track.
Shipping costs vary depending on your location and are calculated at checkout. Every order has shipping added based on your address and selected delivery method. We don't hide shipping in the price—what you see is what you pay.

GENERAL
Not at all. In fact, many of our skates offer advantages over brand-new pairs:
- Game Ready Comfort: Each pair is already broken in, so you skip the painful adjustment period and enjoy instant comfort and responsiveness.
- Pro-Level Models: Most of the skates we carry are top-of-the-line models made with elite materials and construction — the same ones used by professionals.
- No Structural Wear: We only sell skates in strong, fully functional condition. There are no cracks, warps, or structural defects, ever.
- Fully Inspected: Every pair is carefully checked for performance readiness and listed with complete transparency.
- Superior Value: You're getting gear that's built to last multiple seasons — at a fraction of the original price.
We're working on launching a fully automated system that allows customers to sell their skates directly to us. In the meantime, feel free to email usedskateshop@gmail.com to inquire about potentially selling your skates.
We do not refurbish or alter the structural components of any skate. The only refurbishing we perform is cosmetic — a thorough cleaning for visual presentation and hygiene. Every pair is sold exactly as it was originally built, with no modifications to its performance or fit.
We recommend visiting a local hockey shop that offers Bauer's FitLab system or CCM's 3D Fit Scanner. These systems analyze your foot shape and suggest the best model and size for optimal comfort and performance. Once you know your size and fit profile (like Fit 1, 2, or 3 for Bauer), you'll be able to shop with confidence knowing exactly what works for you.
Top-tier skates are built with stiff, high-performance materials — specifically full carbon composite boots that provide the structure, responsiveness, and durability serious players need. This is a level of construction simply not found in lower-end models, which often rely on cheaper plastics or nylon-based materials. The result? A massive difference in performance, support, and longevity.
- Proper skating form through structural support
- Elite energy transfer from leg to ice
- Superior protection against pucks, sticks, and impacts
- Long-term durability that holds up under heavy use
New skates in the $350 retail price range often lack the boot stiffness needed for serious performance. That means less support, less responsiveness, and less protection — even though you're paying full retail.
Here's a bonus: Since they're already broken in, they're rarely too stiff or uncomfortable, even for players upgrading from more forgiving models.
You get the structure you need, the comfort you want, and the performance you're paying for.
